Then my soup leaked into my purse. So much for being all frugal and bringing my lunch.
Then, went to work. (enough said)

Then, came home to a sweetie-sicle (sweetie-pop?). Our house is just too freaking cold. It's ridiculous. I bet it's barely 50 degrees in here. With the heat on. (what passes for heat in this house) I pulled out the little inefficient fan-type space heater to try and warm her up (the sweetie, not the house. I've given up on the house). I just noticed this little heater has stopped oscillating. Two heaters down in one day! Yes!
Then, went out for my walk, in the freezing rain. I like rain. A lot. But I was already cold and although I'm glad I went, I am now wet and cold and frustrated.
(Did I mention Terri's car won't start, too?)
Anyone have a suggestion for the World's Best Space Heater?
Or want to come over and insulate our apartment?

Ugh, that sounds awful. I hate being cold in my own place. I grew up in a house where it was always cold in the winter (no insulation in the walls), so I am really sensitive to that. I hope you find a good space heater!
yikes. i hope today is a better, warmer day.
everytime the temp in my house gets below 55 i think of you and terri
Ally -- me too, only we had a wood stove, so we got nice and warm!
Tammie: it's pitiful. And so far today isn't any better -- I woke up with my eyes so puffy I can barely see. WTF??
Ask Dad about Yvonne's heater, they think it's the cat's meow.
Oy. Murphy's Law ig getting you big time. We have a little ceramic space heater we got at Home Depot a few years ago. It works pretty good for small spaces.
Thanks, Matt... good idea.
Stef: I know, right? I think we're going to look into a programmable oil radiator for the main part of the house. 50 is just too cold for everyday. Even 63 would seem toasty now!
