Just a quickie

So I guess I'm doing NaBloWriMo, which I thought was NaBloPoMo, but is not. Either way, that's a whole lotta blogging. We'll see how I do.

Today is day... um... 6 (?) of Staycation 09. Some things I've noticed:

* Finally my shoulders are relaxed and I have no constant pain in my neck or back. Who knew my daily life was so stressful? Well, I knew... but whew knew it was putting me in constant pain?

* I really like sitting around reading. Magazines or books, it doesn't matter. I have a gigantic pile of magazines I'm working my way through. It's heaven.

* Sleeping in is goooooood. It took me a few days to be able to sleep in. Now I'm feeling more caught up on sleep and it's wonderful.

* I'm going out with the girls tonight to a women's film festival. I don't know anything about it except that it's sponsored by LunaBar (I think) and we get goodie bags. Works for me.

* We are thinking of getting cable in the bedroom. Like everything else, this is way more complicated than you would think. Thank goodness I'm on vacation or I would be highly annoyed by now.

* I seem to have used up all my creative energy on Sunday. Since then, all I've wanted to do is... nothing. But I think maybe tomorrow I will want to start on a painting.

That's about it for today. Time to go figure out what I'm wearing...

there is nothing wrong with doing nothing. i took a day off today. i slept most of the day. it was wonderful. of course this meant that lucy played on the computer all day but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

when we bought this house there was no cable in any room but the living room. not only would this have completely sucked tv wise, but we wouldnt have been able to have internet. so jay and i got up in the attic ourselves and ran cable throughout the house.it was a major pain in the ass but saved us a TON of money.

Tammie: it is so great to do nothing!! Thankfully it will only cost $22 (total) and will be nice to be able to snuggle in bed and watch movies this winter when the rest of our house is freezing.
