Grim

Short entry tonight; I had my Abnormal Psychology class. The subject tonight was suicide. I could say something about this class being so boring that it made me want to kill myself, but that's not very nice. But seriously, this class is the worst, most boring, stupidest class I've ever taken. Which is a shame because it could be very interesting. But instead, it's just the worst. I love school, so it takes a lot for me to hate a class. But I hate this class.

Anyway. This is my favorite house in Alameda for seasonal decorations. They have fabulous decorations up each holiday, including Easter, etc. I love this house. More photos of it tomorrow.

Time to sneak in a little Terror before bed. I love this book to the same degree that I hate my class.

Too bad your class has not improved since the first day. Cool house decor though. I love Halloween but the problem with Halloween in MN is that your decorations could be soaked with rain, sleet and or snow. And the poor kids have to wear often wear winter coats over their costumes. I am up to the part in Terror where they have abandoned shipped and are all at Terror Camp. Such a good book!

Abnormal Psych was actually one of my favorite classes. The instructor was so engaging and made it so interesting. We even got to teach a class ourselves, which was stressful but a good experience.

I'm sorry to hear yours is so boring. :(

Yay for Halloween! Your pictures make me want to see all the cute houses and their decorations in Alameda. Tonight I'm headed to the Jantzen Beach haunted houses (5 total) and hope to capture some scary moments with my camera. ooooOOOOooohhhhh- Can't wait! Thanks for your happy-making posts D!

Stefanie: that was the problem in Oregon, too. I guess there are some advantages to CA weather! Speaking of grim, I'm a few chapters past the Terror Camp part and now things are REALLY grim (as if Terror Camp weren't grim enough...)

Ally: I *wish* it were interesting! I work in mental health so I already know how fascinating it could be, but unfortunately, the teacher sucks.

I swear, instructors make all the difference. I thought I wanted to be a history major till I had the world's worst professor. Then I realized the reason I loved history so much was because of the awesome instructor I had had for classes previously and not necessarily because I was super passionate about history itself. (So maybe I should thank the awful professor? Hmmm...)

He's the worst. I love school and I love psychology so it takes a lot to make me hate a psychology class!
