A Nice Way To Start The Day

The Claremont Hotel, Berkeley, CA

I was lucky enough to have a breakfast meeting at this beautiful landmark hotel today. The view from the restaurant was amazing (I had to keep sneaking furtive looks out the window during the meeting).

Lifted my spirits. Sometimes the universe hands you a nice little gift like this and it changes your whole perspective. For an hour or two, anyway.

(I did drive by a bakery that had the most amazing scents drifting out of it... I should have stopped and gotten something since I was way too healthy and had oatmeal for breakfast...)
