Recided (ree-sided): As in, "I decided this morning that I'm not sucking my thumb anymore," says Abigail (at left).
(15 minutes later, seen again sucking her thumb)
"I thought you weren't sucking your thumb anymore."
"I recided that I could suck my thumb again."
Recided. That is definitely my new favorite word.
I've recided that it's okay for me to eat dairy. I keep going back and forth on this one. But with much experimentation, I've recided that as long as I don't overdo it, and as long as I don't eat wheat, dairy is okay in limited quanities.
Yay!
Yay!

I laughed so hard I started to cry (hard to imagine, I know) when I read this entry. I appreciate the very serious picture of Abigail accompaning your description of how to use the word *recided*. I think I am going to start using this helpful word in my day-to-day conversations and see if it catches on around here.
that's hilarious. i love a good neologism. :)
