My Theme Song

I read this article the other day, about finding your 'theme song.' While I have a hard time pinning myself down to just one song or one motto, I liked this idea. It'd be nice to have a song to have in my head when I need a little boost or courage or something.

So I was thinking about that on my way home tonight. A Tom Petty song came on, and I thought this would be a good one. It's one of my favorites, anyway, and every time I hear it, I get a little surge of energy.

Well I won't back down, no I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
But I won't back down

Gonna stand my ground, won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down
Gonna stand my ground and I won't back down

Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
And I won't back down.

Well I know what's right, I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin' me around
But I'll stand my ground and I won't back down

I don't know if this is My Theme Song, but I'll try it out. It's a fun idea, anyway.

At home, watching Ghost Hunters, with a kitty on my lap and IBS-friendly rice pudding on the stove. My stomach has been really upset the last couple of days, so it's time to go back on the IBS diet for a week or two (or three). I should be on this diet all the time, but it's hard to cut out dairy altogether, and I'm not very good at following diets in general. But maybe, in keeping with my Take Care Of Myself Month, I'll make an effort this month and see what happens.
