Rainy Day Detour

If you live in the Bay Area, you know about the big freeway collapse this week. People have been routing through neighborhoods instead of the freeway (in parts), so the neighborhood streets are busier than usual. I took a detour yesterday to get out of the mess. It was raining, so I took a little tour through my favorite cemetery. Terrific gray, rainy skies made for an atmospheric respite.

I thought this (above) looked like a little bitty fairy tale castle. Well, a haunted one.

This angel clearly does not go quietly into the rainy night, but rages, rages...

And, a great creepy arm-y tree overlooking a few quiet graves.
