A Day In The City

Yesterday we went to San Francisco to do some errands and get Terri's hair cut and colored. I don't have any pictures of the new color yet, but let me tell you, it's fabulous. Cute short cut, plus a lovely dark color. I'll miss the salt-and-pepper, but the new color looks so great, I don't mind.

I wandered around and got some photos during the process.

It was kind of chilly, but fun to wander around the Chinatown neighborhood and take photos. It was actually kind of hard to navigate photo-shooting with all the people, so I ended up concentrating on nature-in-the-city. I liked that experience. I also poked my head into many of the 'real' stores and markets in the neighborhood, and would have loved to take some photos, but it felt a little invasive to pop in and just take pictures, and I really didn't want to buy anything from the stores. Really.

I've got to learn some more about the camera. Take the book out, maybe take a class. It would be really fun to learn some more advanced techniques. Or even, basic-plus techniques. I'm pretty much right at basic. I'm obsessed with my new hobby.
