Well, it was a slow weekend. Mostly.
Saturday (against my better judgment; I wanted to stay home), I went to the East Bay Dowser's Meeting. It was interesting. I was the youngest there by at least 20 years, which was sort of fun (nothing better than a roomful of kooky artsy older ladies). I had no idea what to expect.
When I first got there, I was very shy. I remained super-shy the whole time. There was lots of information about house-clearing, feng shui, dowsing, talking to the fairies, etc. Yep. Now, I loooove woo-woo stuff. But I was sort of out of my element. Everyone seemed mostly normal, and everyone was very nice, but there were a few people that were, um, kind of out-there.
There was a speaker talking about this new healing something-or-other. I didn't really understand it. She was kind of confusing. Something about 'healing codes'. She started giving us all these codes to copy down for our own use. Cool! Now I can heal my body instantly anytime from any trauma. I also have codes for depression, procrastination, overwhelm, forgiveness, and 'Profound Love'. She asked if anyone needed a code for anything particular.
"Do you have a code for, um, planetary healing?"
"You mean, like Earth?"
"No, like, the cosmos."
"Um, no."
or this one:
"How about a code for protecting yourself when someone is trying to imprint your brain?"
"Oh yes, I have a good one for that."
Oh yeah, and then there was the woman who cleared her entire block with this amazing $10,000 "Earth-centering" (or something) machine. She even cleared up her cat's FIV with it.
So, it was fun and interesting, and I still want to take the dowsing class, and some others. I liked most of the women very much, and it was pretty interesting. But I clearly still have quite a ways to go until I enter the upper ranks of Woo-Woo.
I think that's probably for the best.
--------------
After that, the rest of the weekend was pretty easy-going. I was so glad to get home. Weird weather out there, kind of muggy and overcast. I just wanted to be home. Today I deep-cleaned our bedroom. It feels sooooo good now. I can't wait to hang a few more art pieces and it will be so cozy and nice. The apartment really is coming together, bits and pieces. Next I want to do the bathroom, and finish up the kitchen.
So, that's about it. I feel like I'm forgetting to do something. I'll check my list tomorrow. Tonight I just need to take it easy for the rest of the night.
