Savoring the moment. We had a few minutes of quiet before heading back to the hotel to change and then go out and celebrate.
Terri got so many lovely congratulatory phone calls from people. It was really special. Thanks, everyone.
The weather could not have been nicer. We played at the beach for awhile and soaked in those negative ions! And basked in the day's general gloriousness.
Then we went out to dinner at the incredibly lovely and fancy Four Seasons Biltmore. Of the incredible chocolate dessert fame. I need that recipe, dammit!
The lovely candle-lit Congratulations cookie/chocolates plate they surprised her with.
Congratulatory bouquets, Carpinteria orchids, and a new houseplant (in our new bedroom).
